Time is Golden

Client: Zikru Designed by Helen, while contracting for Zikru.
Zikru develop web technologies with a social focus. Time is Golden was created as a prototype for their community calendar software VeryCal, which offers its users the opportunity to create custom templates for their calendars. Zikru created a sample calendar themed around social events for mature citizens, for use in early presentations of the software. I designed a skin for the calendar, including a visually appealing homepage, a logged in user area and full templates for the VeryCal CMS. I was also responsible for the front-end development of this project.
VeryCal was constructed with accessibility and usability in mind. The VeryCal skin was based on a simpler version of the Time is Golden front-end, and the calendar interface and user areas were redesigned and added to as new features were developed. The Time is Golden prototype was taken offline when this product was launched, and www.timeisgolden.com now forwards to the VeryCal homepage.
